WWJF and Jazz at Wesley present:
Multi-instrumentalist Anita Thomas delights audiences with her energy, exceptional skill and sincerity. Equally adept at playing clarinet, saxophone and acoustic bass, Anita can be heard performing in jazz as well as classical ensembles, from New Orleans and Dixieland to bebop and contemporary styles. After performing with the Bullettes at Washington Women in Jazz Festival in previous years, (including her piece for big band and didgeridoo) Anita is back headlining her own night of swinging music in Chevy Chase accompanied by the Amy K Bormet trio.
Jazz at Wesley is a smoke and alcohol-free zone. Sweet and savory items available for purchase with complimentary coffee and tea. This is a family-friendly event, bring your children along!
